-The Satires of Juvenal (Decimus Iunius Iuvenalis, 55?&nbsp;A.D. – 138?&nbsp;A.D.) were
-a constant part of the reading matter of the European Renaissance
-and were regularly studied in schools and colleges, especially in the sixteenth century,
